About our Chapter
The Ridgefield Area Chapter of National Charity League, Inc. was chartered in 1996 and was the first official chapter on the East coast.
Today, the Ridgefield Chapter stands at nearly 250 members and serves over 30 local philanthropies. Each year the Chapter donates approximately 5,000 hours of service to the community.
In addition to community service, we are dedicated to providing our daughters with a well-rounded experience, including providing leadership skills and cultural experiences. We believe that this well-rounded “NCL, Inc. Experience” will inspire and empower our young women to succeed as confident and socially aware contributors in their communities. The three pillars of the NCL, Inc. Experience are as follows:
- Community Service – Promote social awareness that creates action to meet needs and inspires others to become servant leaders.
- Leadership Development – Maximize your potential to be a confident role model by embracing “who you are” which empowers your personal sense of purpose and allows you to be an advocate for others.
- Cultural Experiences – Create an environment that nurtures positive identity by recognizing and appreciating the value of differences in each other and the world.
